But something about today compelled me as a moving reminder of how fragile life is for all of us. It’s Paul’s birthday and rightfully so, his legacy celebrated around the world. Our friendship was bonded over our daughters, Meadow & Simone and the pride and protection we took being their fathers. And recently, I got a scare when I almost lost another friend on the road. Cheese cake Big chocolate fudge cookie with salted caramel chips made into a big ass smile. Because that’s exactly what this cheat meal does for me - puts a big ass smile on my face. I devoured this sugar train around midnight while sitting on my couch, watching Forensic Files md felt like a King. And by 1am I sat there feeling like drunk Jabba the Hut who was still solving every crime before the end of each episode. Very. Sexy. Just wrapped JUNGLE CRUISE, for DISNEY and had to shift major gears and to start filming season 5 of BALLERS for HBO. This series has been a helluva learning curve to produce and star in — but what will always matter most is you guys making us HBO’s #1 highest rated 30min show for years now. THANK YOU for rockin’ with us. I loved every minute of playing this character, “Spencer Strasmore” because we’re exactly one in the same. We look you directly in the eyes when we shake your hand. Navajo Spirit. It’s always very special to me when people get emotional when we meet. Their tears are a reflection of so many emotions and I try to be as present as I can possibly can. I’ve been particularly moved by our Native Americans on this Navajo Nation land. Every hand shake, every hug, every presentation bubbles with emotion. They’re often brought to tears ~ as am I. This powerful land in this picture, is owned by this humble matriarch and her family. As she presented this gift to me on behalf of her family and ancestors, she began to cry. Real as it gets. With every handshake, I feel from them such a deep rooted sense of pride, pain, struggle, joy, humility and strong perseverance.
